Sunshine Valley RV Resort & Cabins
Only 15 minutes past Hope BC, with 110 large 50-amp serviced sites, Sunshine Valley is a place for your familys outdoor adventures! Surrounded by the snow-capped Cascade Mountains it offers a wealth of recreational activities for all campers, including exceptional skiing and snowboarding at Manning Park in the winter months and miles of beautiful hiking trails in the summer. Enjoy ATV and mountain/dirt-biking trails accessible, from the resort, which double as snowmobile trails when the weather gets colder. In the winter there are snowshoe rentals available. You can ride right up to your RV or campsite! Nearby waterways allow for summertime lazing and boating, as well as winter skating. The Resort features indoor and outdoor heated pools and hot tubs, an onsite General Store, liquor sales, fire pits, a fitness centre and a recreation hall. There is a large Great Room available for private functions including weddings. For the non-campers, Sunshine Valley has 10 full-service cabins
Audain Art Museum
Established in 2016, the Audain Art Museum is a leading arts organization founded upon the major philanthropic gift of Michael Audain and Yoshiko Karasawa. Located in Whistler, British Columbia and designed by the internationally-renowned firm Patkau Architects, the AAM boasts a comprehensive Permanent Collection of the provinces most celebrated artists. Exemplifying the richness of cultural difference in Canada, the collection takes visitors on a transformative visual journey from the late 18th century to present. Highlights include hereditary Haida Chief James Harts 'The Dance Screen (The Scream Too),' an exceptional collection of historical and contemporary Indigenous masks, the largest permanent display of paintings by Emily Carr, and key examples of the Vancouver photo conceptualism movement. In addition, the Museum hosts dynamic Special Exhibitions from around the world.

Valhalla Pines Campground and Guesthouse
This is a 6 acre campground in a quiet forested rural-residential area with big trees and very few mosquitoes. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. There are private huts and tent and RV sites. It is beautiful land . Shared amenities include a community building with a full kitchen, bathrooms with free hot showers and flush toilets and a wood stove. Other amenities include free WiFi, rain-shelters, picnic tables, a barbecue area, fire pits and hammocks. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are 35 minutes away. Nelson has many fine restaurants and a thriving art, music and dance scene. Stay here as a base for outdoor adventure, to reconnect with the forest, or just to relax. The Slocan River is ideal for floating or paddling and its very close.
