We are open annually April to October to provide our guests with wine tastings in our tasting room and wine tours of the vineyard and winery or perhaps a glass of wine on our gorgeous patio overlooking the breathtaking Shuswap Lake. Continuously occupied for over 4,300 years, Yuquot village became the capital for all 17 tribes of the Nootka Sound region. Known as the Birthplace of BC where first contact with European explorers and traders occurred 250 years ago. Attracted to the security of the harbour, it became known to explorers as Friendly Cove. As a result, Yuquot developed into an important centre of trade and diplomacy, and it was briefly the site of Spains only military establishment in present-day Canada.
