Boccalino is situated in Kootenay Bay, just 200 meters above the ferry landing. Tallheo Cannery Guest House is on the site of salmon cannery that closed down 30 years ago. It's at the bottom of a 3000 metre mountain with a glacier beside a deep fjord.
