The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Kasiks Wilderness Resort, also known as Kasiks Lodge and Campground has 10 lodge rooms and 24 campsites. Kasiks is a great home base while exploring all the Northwest Coast has to offer. Explore our beautiful and cozy campground nestled amongst the trees surrounded by majestic mountains and near the banks of the Skeena River. We have space for bike camping and bike packing too! Add Kasiks Campground to your route planning as a safe space to rest and recharge on your journey. Kasiks lodge has 4 deluxe suites with private bathrooms and 6 standard rooms with shared bathrooms. We are situated 60 km West of Terrace and 90 km East of Prince Rupert and Port Edward. VISIT OUR CAFE! Kitchen Hours: We are open daily for lunch only, from 11:00 AM 3:00 PM for hot food menu orders. Crowsnest Vineyards was purchased by the Heinecke family in 1985 when the Winery, Restaurant and Guesthouse were launched. Named after the Crowsnest Highway #3, the family was an early contributor to the development of the Similkameen wine region and the wine and food has continuously evolved over the years. Siblings, Sascha and Anna Heinecke were instrumental in the evolution of the business and with the retirement of their parents, took over leadership in 2018 with a bold new vision.
