Founded in 1984 by Dutes and Laura Dutheil in Tlell, Haida Gwaii, Crystal Cabin Gallery began as a modest shop showcasing their handcrafted jewelry and art. Over the years, it has evolved into a renowned gallery featuring an extensive collection of Haida and Northwest Coast Indigenous art, including original paintings, carvings, and jewelry. Committed to supporting local artisans, we collaborate with over 30 Indigenous artists to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the region. Our gallery also offers a diverse selection of crystals and gemstones, reflecting our founders' passion for mineral collecting and lapidary art. As a female business owner and entrepreneur with a background in marketing, it has been my dream to help grow and promote the local art community in Vancouver. I created Pacific Arts Market to showcase our city's local artistic talent and diversity. Local artists exhibit paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography, leather goods, woodwork and other crafts. My role is to be a catalyst that unites creative artisans with art-loving consumers. Once inside, all the unique & stunning pieces of art will speak for themselves. The Kamloops Art Gallery offers inspiring, provocative, and transformative art experiences of national caliber. Once the home of Rossland's dairy, Red Barn Lodge is well situated for its current role of providing a convenient base for your Summer and Winter outdoor adventures. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds.
