With sixteen lakes available to guests to fish with rowboats waiting for you, everyday is an adventure. The cabins at the resort all have row boats and electric motors included with you stay. These mountain lakes all produce beautiful Kamloops rainbow trout. This is a quiet place to relax, go for a swim, paddle, walk or hike and have some fun fishing for feisty trout by fly or lure.

The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. We offer youth program, biatlhon and lessons. Rental Shop available for renting skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Day Lodge on site. Lowhee Campground
Barkerville
This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.
