Relax in one of Echo Bay Lodge's 2 Suites, A spectacular one bedroom or a 2 bedroom with two spacious guest rooms with private ensuites. Shared fully-equipped kitchen facilities allow guests the option to prepare their own meals on site, or bring your catch of the day out back and cook it on the lodge's gas barbecue or fire pit while enjoying the meticulously-groomed, landscaped yard and flowering gardens. You can even help yourself to fresh garden herbs when in season, like garlic, parsley, sage, tarragon, chives, fennel, sorrel, dill, mint and more, grown right on the property. Radius is a forested mountainside retreat offering walk in and hike in Yurt rentals. We are situated on 1000 acres which are open to explore in the summer, spring, and fall with trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Radius is an off grid, sustainable wilderness area, and there is solar power in each yurt and we provide water and firewood for your stay. The yurts are anywhere from a 5 minute walk to a 7 km hike, and are all situated so that you feel like you are in peaceful solitude and truly a part of the natural area surrounding you, and yet only a few minutes from town and all the amenities it offers. Radius backs onto Kootenay National Park, extending the hiking and nature experience. Cascade Cove RV Park is a family run property and a great place to stay with over 70 fully serviced RV sites offering both 30 and 50 amp power, great drinking water and sewer hook-ups. We also offer tenting sites with water and power available. Some of these sites overlook the Kettle River and our small cove and beach. We have public washrooms with coin operated showers along with laundry facilities. Firewood and ice are available at the office. The facility is very much family and pet friendly with a playground and safe beach. Lots of places explore through giant old growth cedar forest including the famous Trans Canada Trail. Close to the RV Park is the spectacular Cascade Gorge. The friendly community of Christina Lake is only a few minutes down the highway and the public beach offers swimming, boating and fishing on one of the warmest lakes in BC.

The Hume Hotel is a full-service Nelson landmark originally built in 1898 and is a must-see part of your trip to the area. We just completed a 12-year renovation. All floors have been renovated beautifully, maintaining that heritage charm that it is known for while incorporating modern technology. The Raging Elk adventure lodge is situated in the heart of Fernie, a 10 minute drive to Fernie Alpine Resort.
