Valkyr Adventures is an adventure tourism company and has been offering multi-day ski touring and alpine hiking vacations based out of our backcountry lodges in British Columbia since 2005. Our 3 hand-crafted lodges provide unique access to a vast tract of pristine alpine terrain. Transportation to our lodges is by helicopter from Burton BC. Choose from guided, catered or self supported pkgs.

Private Lodge and deluxe wilderness cabins accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. Enjoy fine gourmet dining, beautiful vistas and genuine hospitality. Fifteen pristine lakes are yours to discover in the boats provided. Fly fish or spin fish for wild Kamloops Rainbow Trout. Enjoy the solitude and absorb the moment. All in a secluded location accessed only by lodge boat leaving the world behind. Four or Five night stays. All incusive four nights including tax $1877.04 per person. Pick up your fresh local BC field greens, vegetables, and fruit from Wild Wunder Gardens, Christina's Garden, Black Table Farm, Small Collective Farms, J&D Farms, Satchel Farm, Summer Breeze fruit farm (in season) and other specialty produce farmers, all bringing you fresh local farm foods and farm fresh eggs every week. Also enjoy freshly prepared foods like Perogies and pies, Avani Veggie Bowls, Jams & Preserves, kombucha, local honey, baking, meats and much more. Also, taste B.C. Wines, Spirits, and Craft beers. Every week, we feature Best of B.C. Arts and Crafts from our local artisans, including painters, handmade Jewelry, natural soaps, Glassware, Artwork for the home, Wood-crafting, handmade clothing, plus much more. Facilities: Public beach, day-use picnic area, flush toilets, change house. Location: Off Hwy 3, in the town of Christina Lake. Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 300 metres of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.

The Station House Gallery & Gift Shop, situated in an historic #3 Rail Station, presents monthly exhibitions yearly that feature local, regional and touring artists.
