Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. Cottonwood House was built in 1864 offering accommodation, meals, hardware and provisions to many on their journey along the Cariboo Wagon Road to Barkerville or Quesnel. Today, this 26 acre wheelchair accessible provincial heritage site is a tourist destination offering heritage interpretation, hiking, and day use facilities.

Bright and airy self contained 1000 ft2 suites , and a 2000 ft2 house overlooking Orofino Vineyard and Mountain and the spectacular Similkameen Valley are the perfect home base for a dreamy wine or outdoor themed vacation in this beautiful part of the world. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, mountains and a short distance to the picturesque Similkameen River, the suites and guest house offer all amenities needed for a relaxing get away. We have a 1 Bedroom suite, a 2 Bedroom suite, both complete with large vaulted ceiling kitchens opening onto a private deck with barbecue and seating overlooking our vineyard. The 3 Bedroom guest house has an open spacious floorplan, and multiple outdoor sitting and dining areas. Bicycles are available for borrowing to explore our wonderful valley and Orofino Winery is conveniently located next to the suites.Laundry facilities are available upon request.

Port Hardy RV Resort & Log Cabins offers cozy log cabins and RV sites between the Quatse River and a 138-acre wildlife sanctuary. Located just off Highway 19, the resort is about 5 km from the BC Ferries terminal and a short walk to downtown Port Hardy. Guests enjoy free parking, Wi-Fi, BBQ and picnic areas, and a garden. Pet-friendly cabins include heating, private patios, TVs, and bathrooms with showers and toiletries. The property offers coin laundry and limited front-desk hours. An excellent base for exploring San Joseph Bay, Cape Scott Provincial Park, and North Vancouver Island.

The Discovery Passage Aquarium offers fun and unique hands-on educational experiences for people of all ages. Come to see, touch and feel our incredible local marine species and habitats and discover the diverse marine life of Discovery Passage and Islands. The Aquarium is open from spring until fall each year. Specimens from representative local species are collected from the marine environment in the spring and returned to the area of collection at the end of the season.

Lakeview combines quality and affordability in a quiet location. We are close to the beach and all amenities. Our heated salt water pool is a summer hit as are the barbecues and picnic area. This off grid mountain lodge situated at 3,700 feet in the mountains, on a private lake, has all the comforts of home. Three bedrooms have a queen and single bed with one room having two single beds. Close to the lodge are three rustic cabins that are 12' x 10', each cabin sleeps 2 each, use of an outdoor cook shack and fire pit. Campsites are available too! Enjoy the spectacular lake and mountain views. Bring your fly fishing rod to enjoy catching and releasing wild rainbow trout (additional fee).
