Wya Point Resort is situated amongst old-growth forest and private, pristine beaches of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht (Ucluelet) First Nation peoples. Located on the rugged and remote west coast of Vancouver Island, we offer luxurious lodge accommodations, waterfront yurts and beachfront camping. We have nine timber lodges that were built to LEED Platinum standards using locally harvested red cedar. Each lodge is uniquely designed by a local carver and artist, and named for an animal of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht culture. The lodges come equipped with a full kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, bedroom (1 or 2), cedar deck and chairs, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook Ucluth beach. Our beachfront yurts are open year-round and have private access to Wya beach. All come with a gas stove for heat, cedar deck and chairs, linens and basic kitchen essentials. While our yurts and lodges have daily housekeeping, guests are advised to bring their own potable drinking water and food.

Our vessels are stocked with the very best technology and fishing equipment including: Lowrance HDS10 Nav System, Islander Reels, Sage Rods and Scotty High Performance Digital Downriggers. In Tofino we target primarily chinook and coho salmon (with the occasional sockeye, chum or pink), halibut, rockfish, albacore tuna as well as Dungeness crab. We are a 100% certified organic cidery located on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We bought our property in 2011 and became certified organic shortly after in 2013. Currently, the ingredients in the majority of our products are grown on property using our over 3,500 apple trees consisting of over 450 varieties. What we dont source from our orchard, we get from other farms on Salt Spring Island. We mainly focus on dry cider as we feel it best captures the complexity and taste of our apples, however with our incredible range of 16 ciders, we have something for everyone. If our ciders didnt catch your attention, the view from our tasting room and orchard sure will! We sit on over 3 acres of land with an unbelievable view of the water and mountains.
