The Howe Sound Inn and Brewing Company is a character northwest inn located in the town centre of Squamish, B.C., a scenic 45 minute drive north of Vancouver, and only 35 minutes south of the resort of Whistler. We are a Vancouver Island Fishing Lodge located in Quatsino on the North West Coast. We target Chinook, Halibut, Ling Cod, Coho and Tuna. The Flora's/Bamfield Inn property is a combination of 3 buildings. Newly renovated, the 12 'room' inn (in the back) has private accommodations and bathrooms, with a common kitchen and living room area for guests to use. The front building hosts an ocean front event room and family style accommodation unit for those that want to be right on the water and at the boardwalk. The middle and largest building on the property is a 100 years old, with TONS of history, and will soon to be a restaurant, a bar and have 8 upper suites/rooms (opening approx. May 2024). The building has 2 large decks overlooking the channel to enjoy, one being the FLORA's restaurant and bar, and 4 water view rooms are available as well. Nestled on a half acre lot in a quiet rural area of Qualicum Beach, we are only minutes (by car) from town, the beach, and golf courses. You are invited to come share our cottage style home. Our living room is the 'common room' and breakfst will be served in our cozy kitchen or outside on the deck (weather permitting). Breakfast is prepared by Hans, a Swiss trained chef and German is spoken. Each bedroom has wonderfully comfortable beds with fine linens, character furnishings and TV's.
