Blue Mountain is an estate dedicated to producing complex wines, consistent in style and quality from year to year. Located at south end of the valley with 31 hectares of vines planted, the property supplied grapes to other wineries for 21 years before the Mavety family founded the winery in 1991. In addition to Pinot Noir, the 12,000-case yearly production consists of Gamay Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and a méthode traditionnel sparkling wine, all from estate grown grapes.

A single artist gallery on one of Canada's Gulf Islands. Really an Art Lovers Getaway. Jill travels and paints in various parts of the world. She has many collections on her website and over 300 paintings currently in print. Jill has had galleries of her own for more than 30 years. Her personal gallery on Salt Spring Island is definitely the best place to view her art plus have a chance to meet in person. She paints primarily in watercolour always vibrant and uplifting. We can take you into the Rocky Mountains on horse back in tent camp and spend the days riding and hiking - we can go fishing for huge trouts on the lake - we can explore the area on side-by-sides, and maybe see bears, moose, elk and goats.
