POMO Museum
On the picturesque shore at the end of the Burrard Inlet lies the POMO Museum, once the committed terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway at the first navigable tide waters of the Pacific Ocean. Located beside Rocky Point Park and across from the Brewers Row, there’s lots to see and do. We have a Food Truck onsite, and we’re steps away from Rocky Point Ice Cream, Pajo’s and the Water Park. Accessible from Moody Centre Skytrain. The Museum, formerly the Port Moody Station Museum, is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society (PMHS) to promote and increase the awareness and knowledge of Port Moody’s heritage and history. Exhibitions at the Museum include the Historic Port Moody CPR Station itself, now in its 3rd location. See artifacts and walk through the parlour, kitchen, and telegraph room, recreated to reflect the station as it was in the 1930s. The Museum is currently featuring the exhibit ‘Port Moody Industries’ & ‘Our Living Languages: First Peoples Voices in BC’, on loan from the Royal Museum of BC, and our own ‘Inclusion’ Exhibit. Sealegs Kayaking & Marine Adventures
Sealegs Kayaking & Marine Adventure Centre offers wildlife kayaking tours, kayak and stand up paddle board (SUP) rentals and an Eco Adventure Centre pro-shop at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith. Paddle demonstrations, safety talks and a gear fittings are included with all rentals. Eagles, seals, river otters are commonly viewed in and around our quiet harbour and family friendly beachside park.

Qualicum Breeze Beach Resort
A Vancouver Island secluded beachfront paradise with the Ocean at your doorstep, you can enjoy beachcombing, bonfires, clam digging, oyster picking and salmon fishing. THe Qualicum area is known for first class fishing from early May to mid October. Anglers from around the world descend upon our shores to cast for one of the four salmon runs. Chest waders or belly boats are all that is necessary for an extreme day of cast or fly fishing. View an abundance of marine life, including blue heron, bald eagles, whales, seals and many other species. Extreme Mountain bike trails are found on Mt. Washington during the Summer, and is great skiing and snow boarding during the winter.
