The AlpenRose is located in a quiet neighborhood beside the forest. We are 3 mins to the gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and 5 mins from downtown and all amenities. I have four comfortable modern bedrooms. Each room has a beautiful view of the mountains, quality linens, private bathrooms with environmentally friendly bath products, full HD cable, wifi and in room climate controls. There is also a seasonal hot tub. You have a choice from a variety of breakfast options and your meal is prepared fresh daily using locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Radius is a forested mountainside retreat offering walk in and hike in Yurt rentals. We are situated on 1000 acres which are open to explore in the summer, spring, and fall with trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Radius is an off grid, sustainable wilderness area, and there is solar power in each yurt and we provide water and firewood for your stay. The yurts are anywhere from a 5 minute walk to a 7 km hike, and are all situated so that you feel like you are in peaceful solitude and truly a part of the natural area surrounding you, and yet only a few minutes from town and all the amenities it offers. Radius backs onto Kootenay National Park, extending the hiking and nature experience. Only 2 minutes from town, and just a short drive off the highway up to the main parking area, and you will feel like you have entered a whole new world of fresh air, solitude, peace and serenity.

Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is an authentic representation of a once thriving community of canneries, boat yards, and residences, along the scenic shores of the Fraser River. Tour the oldest shipyard buildings in British Columbia, as you experience a bygone time when fishing and boatbuilding were flourishing industries on the Fraser River. Many of the buildings date back to 1885 and tell the stories of the diverse community of residents and workers in the historic fishing village of Steveston. The collection of heritage buildings has national value and was designated a National Historic Site in 1992.

Sorcerer Lodge is a remote helicopter accessed backcountry lodge located in the Selkirk Mountains near Golden BC and on the border Glacier Nation Park. We offer ski touring, snowboarding and mountaineering packages both guided/catered or self service. The terrain is heavily glaciated and not recommended for beginners. A variety of tree skiing gets you outside on the worst weather days and open glades and glacier runs allow access to many peaks in the area.

The Victoria Golf Club, founded in 1893, is the oldest course in Canada on its original location, and second oldest in North America. The course began as 14 holes but quickly expanded to 18 in 1895. There have been at least three different lay-outs - the one played today was finalized in the mid-1920s (after a decision in 1923 to end the practice of hitting tee shots on two holes across the ever-busier Beach Drive). Our stately Clubhouse, completed in 1928, is a registered Canadian Historic Place and has undergone a number of expansions and renovations (including the most recent in 1993) and provides a grand and comfortable venue to begin your own memories. When you walk through this storied building you'll be reminded of a rich history of golf, companionship and community that spans over generations. Perhaps one of the more obscure yet heartwarming examples is a series of photos of a foursome on the course, taken annually on the same date over five decades. Golfing Legends For more than a century, famous names have graced our course, including golfing greats Harry Vardon, Byron Nelson, Joyce Wethered, Ben Hogan, Al Geiberger, Pat Bradley, George Knudson, Sam Snead, Dawn Coe Jones and Johnny Miller just to mention a few. Numerous celebrities, like Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Wayne Gretzky, Pamela Anderson and Kiefer Sutherland have also been drawn to the seaside links through the years, not only to play but also in support of charitable causes. History continues to be made in the annual Victoria and Seattle GC inter-club, a home and home friendly that is the oldest international golf tournament in North America (since 1895). The Seniors North West Championship, representing players of various levels from the U.S Pacific northwest, British Columbia and Alberta, continues to be hosted by VGC for eighty plus years now.
