Mabel Lake Resort & Marina, located on the north shores of beautiful Mabel Lake, is one of BCs premiere family vacation centers, offering a full selection of activities and accommodations. Radium Hot Springs
Nestled in Sinclair Canyon, Radium Hot Springs, located in British Columbias Kootenay National Park, includes a hot soaking pool and cooler swimming pool. Radium Hot Springs mineral water is uniquely odourless and clear, making this the perfect place for a relaxing soak. Gaze up at the rock cliffs see if you can spot one of the bighorn sheep that make this canyon home. The kids will enjoy swimming and diving in the cooler swimming pool (29C). Stop by to learn about the local history, culture and heritage of Fort St. James, Nakazdli Whuten First Nation, Stuart Lake and surrounding communities. Bulkley Valley Museum
Explore the natural and human history of Smithers and the surrounding Bulkley Valley at the Bulkley Valley Museum! Located in the historic Central Park Building, the Museum features engaging and informative temporary and permanent displays on local history and culture, including Driftwood Canyon fossils, Witsuwit'en (Wet'suwet'en) history, and the the mystery of the American B-36 bomber that crashed in the mountains near Hazelton. Explore the streets of Smithers with our free historical walking tour brochure. Kids can enjoy our scavenger hunt activity. The Museum is fully accessible, has ample on-site parking for RVs, and a gender-neutral accessible washroom.

BIG Little Science Centre is a fun Hands-On venue for Families. During drop-in times our hands-on rooms are open for visitors to tour at their leisure. The site has approximately 140 stations of hands-on activities to try.

This gallery is a hidden gem with the work of 26 artists displayed over several rooms. Spacious viewing rooms allow visitors to take in the broad range of artistic styles and subject matters. From the large paintings to the smaller works (fit well in a suitcase), the gallery has a lot to offer. Browsers welcome! The First Friday of each month features an evening reception with artists present, art demos and fun conversation.
