The museum consists of three galleries. The permanent gallery at Anvil Centre takes you on a journey of discovery, covering over 10,000 years of New Westminster history and ending in 2010. Gallery 7 picks up where the permanent gallery leaves off. This is a place of engagement and interaction, bringing forth the contemporary stories of our city through discussion, dialogue, and exhibition in a smaller intimate setting. The temporary gallery lets us take a deeper look into many of our city's more interesting and thought-provoking stories, individuals, and objects. The third gallery can be found at 1865 Irving House, the former colonial home of Captain William Irving, and one of the oldest community heritage sites in B.C.

On May 10, 2010, the Gidda family of West Kelowna opened Volcanic Hills Estate Winery. Located on the southeastern slope of Boucherie Mountaina 60-million-year-old dormant stratovolcanoour 15,000 sq. ft. winery was inspired by its volcanic terroir. WESTERN HOSPITALITY ON A GUEST RANCH AT THE ENTRANCE TO BEAUTIFUL WELLS GRAY PARK Despite the rapid growth of its urban centers, much of Western Canada is still untamed frontier. One of those areas is the Wells Gray Park, 5200 sq. kilometer of protected wilderness in Central British Columbia. Bounded on the north and east by the Cariboo Mountains, and on the west by an upland plateau, the Wells Gray Park encompasses a broad spectrum of mountain scenery. The area is abundant in flora and fauna. Caribou, moose, black bear, beaver and wolf freely roam the park, and local streams are well stocked with trout.
