Since 2010 Black Bear Kayak provides Kayaking adventure and hiking tours departing from Tofino. Explore the rugged coasts of Clayoquot Sound and meet the wildlife at its doorstep. No experience required!

With the combination of our fantastic horses, fun, knowledgeable, personable guides/wranglers, small or big groups, and the stunning beauty of the scenery, what more can one ask for? Our guests have a passion for horses, want to be out with nature, and have an adventurous side. It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. The 100 Mile Nordics operate a groomed trail network for nordic skiing. Our lodge serves up hot soup and snacks daily. Rentals for skiing and snowshoeing are available. Night use is available until 10pm with the assistance of a timed lighting system. Payment at night is made in the honour box next to the lighting system.

YOUR FUN LIVES HERE! Sunshine Marina is located on Lake Koocanusa in one of British Columbias most beautiful natural playgrounds! We pride ourselves on having something for everyone. Bounce on our huge inflatable waterpark, paddle the sandy shoreline with the eagles, have margaritas and tacos at our floating cantina or jump aboard one of our many boat rentals. We have day trip and overnight options for any thrill level. At just 3.5 hours from Calgary, 1 hr from Fernie and Cranbrook, we are too close not to join the fun!

Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping. We are situated right on the exceptional Chesterman's Beach in Tofino, on the North end, next to the famous Wickaninnish Inn

A nostalgic and chic boutique winery operated by a young family. Award-winning wines and always a fun atmosphere in our public tasting room and giftware boutique. We are open year round with no reservations required: 10:00 am to 5:30 or 7:00 pm daily from mid-March to Oct.31 and noon to 4:00 pm, Tuesday to Sunday from Nov. 1 to mid-March. Everyone has a story, it seems, from back in the good old days, which makes a visit to Nostalgia Wines a trip down memory lane. The folks here just love to listen to these stories as they run their friendly tasting room, winery, and 17-acre vineyard.

From May through October, Haig-Brown Heritage House, nestled on the Campbell River, offers unique Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Three rooms with views overlooking the grounds are available for up to seven guests. The house interior reflects the character and modest lifestyle of the family. The gardens and grounds remain true to what the Haig-Browns originally created and cared for.

Located at the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser Rivers, the Kilby Historic Site stands as the only reminder of the once thriving community of Harrison Mills. Discover the story of this vibrant community when you explore our lovely five-acre heritage sitecomplete with a 1906 General Store and demonstration farm. Meet our friendly animals, participate in historic demonstrations, and soak in the sights and sounds of a world gone by. Stop for lunch in our licensed café and browse our gift shop filled with unique items from local artisans and makers. Within walking distance of the museum is the scenic Kilby Park, located on the Harrison River featuring a 41-site campground, day-use area, sandy beaches, nature trails, and boat launch.

Want to soar like an eagle? Or knock an item off of your bucket list? Then come and visit us! We offer tandem flights for: Paragliding, Hang Gliding & Motorized Hang Gliding Trike. Tandem flights range in time from 8 minutes to over an hour, depending on the conditions. If you want to become a pilot yourself, we have qualified instructors to teach you how to paraglide or hang glide. The flight park has 2 launch sites and a 2000' grass runway and 2 smaller taxiways as well as a Pilot's Lounge, an outdoor covered deck where you can relax after your flight and watch others "commit acts of aviation"! We are open from late April to mid-October, weather permitting.
