Union Steamship Marine Resort
Our cottages are some of the few remaining historic Union Steamship Company cottages, built in the 1920s, that have been carefully preserved to maintain their original character. The kitchens are fully equipped: with a coffee maker, microwave oven, cooking utensils, cutlery, china, glassware, dish soap and more. We provide linens, towels, firewood and a barbeque. All accommodations have a view of Snug Cove and are child and pet friendly.
Footprint Nature Explorations
Professionally guided, all inclusive, day- and multi-day kayak adventures in Desolation Sound, the Copeland Islands and Okeover Inlet. Sea Kayaking is a fun-tastic way to explore and two of British Columbias most unique and scenic kayak destinations, Desolation Sound Marine Park and the Copeland Islands Marine Park. Quite often we will be followed by nosy seals, playful river otters and sometimes even by an impressive sea lion. With a bit of luck we could encounter a pod of Killer Whales or even a Humpback Whale in Desolation Sound or Salish Sea. Throughout the seasons many bird species choose this area to forage or breed. Frequent sightings of bald eagles, various ducks and shore-birds are not uncommon. We focus on SMALL GROUPS and personal attention. Professionally guided & unique kayak tours in first class, made in BC, kayaks! Tours depart from Desolation Sound Resort in Okeover Inlet or from Lund Harbour on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada.
E.P. Orchards
EP Orchards is a family owned soft fruit orchard. We grow organic peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots. Come and enjoy our U-Pick or buy fresh fruit which we have picked for you. We welcome families, campers and groups. We look forward to seeing you.
Daajing Giids Visitor Centre
The Daajing Giids Visitor Center is located on the waterfront with gorgeous ocean views. We are an excellent local source of information when visiting Haida Gwaii. Inside the longhouse inspired building you will find engaging, resourceful staff, artisan galleries, a gift shop as well as useful interpretive materials. Head outside to our garden and picnic area to relax and take in the fresh air. We also have a large day parking area for RVs and clean indoor public restrooms. We are closed seasonally from December until mid-April. We will be intermittently checking our email; and voicemail messages throughout this time. Stay tuned for our reopening date in Spring!
Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery & Visitor Centre
Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Visitor Hours: Tuesday Saturday, 10:00 am 3:00 pm. Open March 20 November 28 Fishing pond: registered program participants only. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. Free rod and tackle loan is available from this location.
Kootenay Adaptive
At Kootenay Adaptive, we offer personalized rental and experience packages which include, off road hand cycling and adaptive mountain biking to persons with disabilities. Based out of Nakusp, BC and our primary service area are the Okanagan and Kootenay Regions. We also provide experiences across the province and beyond. Kilby Provincial Park
Kilby Park is situated on the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser rivers in scenic Harrison Mills. It features a beautiful 35-site campground, a day-use area, sandy beaches, nature trails and a boat launch. The Park is at the west end of Kilby Road, within walking distance of the Historic Site. On behalf of the Province of BC the Kilby Historic Site and Kilby Park is operated by the Fraser Heritage Society, a charitable non-profit society with a volunteer board.

Golden River Adventures
Golden River Adventures offers Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) and Inflatable Kayak Tours in Golden, British Columbia. We offer two distinct tours: WAPTA FALLS WILD & SCENIC Today, we can travel these routes and imagine the hardships that must have been endured on these shorelines. mountain passes and trails. The result is one of the most unique tours in the Canadian Rockies, travelling historic trade route. This tour begins on the Beaver River and travels to the confluence of the Beaver and Kicking Horse Rivers. From there, in true Canadian fashion, participants engage in a short portage along one of the original portage routes of the Canadian West. Natives and explorers alike travelled these exact waterways and trails centuries ago. Highlights include paddling to the base of Wapta Falls, the Rockies most photographed waterfall. From there the trip continues down Class 1 Whitewater. Most of this tour occurs within Yoho National Parks, and at any point participants can glance up for sweeping views of Mount Chancellor, the Canadian Rockies peak over 10,000 feet that straddles the Western Flank of this world-renowned Mountain Range. The tour is 5 hours in length from start to finish, and departs daily at 10 AM The Wapta Falls Wild & Scenic Tour is offered Daily. With a maximum guide to participant ratio of 5:1, seating on this tour is very limited. Reservations are strongly recommended. PRICE = $129 PP CAD DOLLARS COLUMBIA VALLEY EXPLORER The Kicking Horse & Columbia River waterways through the town of Golden boast a historical significance to the Columbia area. With the stunning backdrop of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and the the Purcell Mountain Range, this tour is shorter and more urban in nature than the Wild & Scenic Wapta Tour. We will see remnants of the old docks of a bygone area that were at one time a lifeline for the residents of golden to accessing goods. We will travel under the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge, the longest covered timber bridge in Canada. Once we come to the terminus of the Kicking Horse River we will travel the Columbia River for a short while. This is a good time in the evening to catch a glimpse of black bears near the water's edge, although it is not guaranteed. With a guide ratio of 5:1 Reservations are strongly recommended.
