Rocky Point Kayak is located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. Our sheltered location offers easy access to the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. The calm waters at Rocky Point have an abundance of bird and wildlife just a short paddle from shore. Stunning scenery and secluded beaches provide a quick wilderness escape despite being only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals, of kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. In addition, we offer Paddle Canada certified lesson programs and tours, and many weekly drop-in social paddles. We have the staff and equipment to host large group or corporate outing and specialize in school paddle trips and lessons. We operate seasonally from April 1 to the end of Thanksgiving. We have a large rental fleet with a diverse range of boats for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Our rental fleet consists of single, double, family-friendly double kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards.

The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. The history museum features an introduction to the Sinixt and Ktunaxa nations, culture and perspectives, the history of European exploration and the challenges of trade and travel routes, and how various industries such mining, transportation, hydroelectricity affected the area and the creation of the Queen City. Our galleries rotate exhibitions eight times per year and feature everything from contemporary art and pop culture, to fine craft and design, to local architectural and social history the Nelson Museum's exhibitions connect to this areas creative energy and rich heritage. The Ferry Building Gallery is a public community gallery operated by the District of West Vancouver. Located at the center of the Ambleside Landing area in one of West Vancouvers oldest buildings, it serves as a hub for arts and culture. The gallery presents up to 18 exhibitions annually to more than 500 visitors each week. The mandate of the gallery is to support the development of emerging and established artists from the North Shore, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast. By organizing art lectures, workshops, tours and programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the North Shore, the gallery provides valuable and enriching artist-led experiences to the community. The Ferry Building Gallery is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Musqueam Nation. We recognize and respect them as nations in this territory and their historic connection to the lands and waters around us since time immemorial.
