Black Sheep Camp Kootenay is a campground situated along the picturesque Kootenay River in Canal Flats. The campground boasts 31 fully serviced RV sites, 20 30-amp power sites, four well-appointed glamping tents, and ample boondocking spaces throughout the property for off-the-grid camping experiences. Sleigh Rides Through Winter Wonderland I grew up on a farm learning the value of the horse. In my early years I had a team of ponies that took kids out toboggans, which eventually led my teams and I to do Christmas Rides in town. When not doing sleigh rides, I am working my teams on the farm doing everything from chores, to working the fields. All of my years with the horses, has led me to be able to offer sleigh rides at Big White during the winter months.

Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation.
