Our heritage cottages have been renovated to modern standards. Settled on a private one acre point with morning sunrises to start your day and evening sunsets to finish your day. Low bank ocean front with two sandy beaches and tidal pools for hours of entertainment and great swimming. Next to East Point Park where the Orcas travel on a regular basis. You could reach out and touch one, but we advise you use your camera instead! Watch the sea lions, seals and dolphins frolic in the ocean as you relax on the front lawn. Be amazed by the bald eagles diving for their dinner, and be prepared to be startled by a deer nibbling the tree outside the bedroom window. Your stay also gives you access to 44 acres of private hiking trails for you and your dog to enjoy off leash walks. The cottages are fully equipped with linens, towels, full kitchen and outdoor barbecues. You do not need a 4 wheel drive to reach our retreat as the roads are well paved and great for biking. The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see. Welcome to the Denman Guesthouse at the earthclubfactory. We operate a guesthouse that is run in the spirit of a hostel. This 100 year property has had a complete redevelopment sewer, septic, roof, foundation, electrical. The water is filtered 2ce and runs throw a UV system and is tested monthly for the Bistro. It has some odour, typical of this area, but blame mother earth. We have slowly been fixing the fundamentals but it remains in the character it was 100 years ago. The Earth Club Factory guiding principles are biodegradable, sustainable appropriate technology , organics. To a certain degree we incorporate this into our business, and always strive to do more. The Bistro is a great place to enjoy our home roasted coffee, yes done on 2 special BBQS. Simple affordable food, numerous music event, country views, lots or deer and peace and quiet.
