A cozy single story motel conveniently located on the south end of Parksville across from the Heritage Center Mall. All rooms have large flat screen TV's, coffee, microwaves, fridges, high speed internet, very comfortable beds, very quiet, close to the beach, across from restaurant, Serious Coffee, laundry mat. Lots of free parking, room for RV's. We are environmentally responsible with the newest most efficient heating and air conditioning, we also have efficient water usage without compromising the comfort of our guests. We are small dog friendly and have some kitchenettes available. We are maximum comfort and value and know you will be impressed. We receive daily compliments on our motel and work hard to make your stay everything you could want. We have just became wireless so bring your I pads.

For the adventurous we offer year round complimentary kayaks use (including a new 2 person kayak), standup paddle boards or a canoe which are found at our floating dock. If you want to just relax and enjoy the lake view while outside it simply doesn't get much better than from the lake level hot tub. During these Covid-19 times all breakfasts are served directly to your suite and all suites are fully sanitized between guests. All suites feature private entries and as the facility is quite spacious social distancing is not a problem. Free onsite parking and WIFI are included. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. The area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is one of the most pristine grizzly bear habitats in the world. The historic lodge has been welcoming guests since 1931. Guests of the lodge may select either a Small Group or a Private package. Come nightfall, guests stay in their own private chalet or elevated suite right at the forest's edge. David was working at Mistaya from day one and took over ownership in 2003. We host small groups of no more that 14 guests at a time. Nestled on a half acre lot in a quiet rural area of Qualicum Beach, we are only minutes (by car) from town, the beach, and golf courses. You are invited to come share our cottage style home. Our living room is the 'common room' and breakfst will be served in our cozy kitchen or outside on the deck (weather permitting). Breakfast is prepared by Hans, a Swiss trained chef and German is spoken. Each bedroom has wonderfully comfortable beds with fine linens, character furnishings and TV's. The two bedrooms share a bathroom and we provide bathrobes and slippers. Relax after a dy of sightseeing and enjoy Hans' creative touches around the yard. Make yourselves at home!
