The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. As of Thursday April 24, tours will be available at 2pm daily (including weekends). Specific tour time requests are still available and approved based on operations and staff availability. Free rod and tackle gear is available. Adults 16 years+ require a basic fishing licence. The Trout Fishing Pond is open May 1 October 31, dawn to dusk.

Once a church, our log lodge is perched on a knoll on the south shore overlooking the Johnstone Strait. The beach is just steps away. Constructed entirely of cedar, the Great Room (the former worship room) of this magnificent building features vaulted 14 cedar ceilings, four conversation nooks and a dining room with ocean and mountain views. Indigenous art hangs on our walls, and books of many variations grace our library. Outside is a wrap around sundeck. The lodge is the perfect place to take in the ocean, inhale the cedar aroma and loose yourself in the serene vibe of this place. We offer wildlife trip bookings, a choice of four included hot breakfasts, and a dinner service. Wifi and parking are included.

Larch Hills Nordic Society is located half way between Enderby and Salmon Arm in beautiful British Columbia. Daily trail fees are affordable or purchase a membership for an economical option. We offer 57 km of skate/classic trackset trails; 114 km of ungroomed ski trails and 17 km of snowshoe trails. Our groomed trails are maintained by a PB Edge tracksetter and a side by side pulling the Ginzu groomer. There is a beautiful heated chalet with kitchen facilities and indoor washrooms. Our volunteers are active and provide daily grooming, a Safety Host program and ski programs and lessons for all ages.

In the fall time we have The Salmon Run. Here the Salmon from the ocean come to lay their eggs and then die off. It really is worth seeing! The fall colors of the leaves are spectacular! In winter we have wonderful powdered snow for Cross Country skiing as well as Snowmobiling. A wonderful time of year as well!

We are open for the 2025 season! The Ucluelet Aquarium is a collect-and-release aquarium dedicated to raising awareness and respect for the local ocean environment.
