Nile Point is a secluded, off the grid resort located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. The resort currently offers a tent platform and 500 sqft canvas tent with ensuite bathroom.

We hate to boast but the awe-inspiring sunsets, marshmallow roasting campfires mixed with a family friendly (and adorable dog-friendly) stretch of sand is hard to beat. We have a new lobby complete with a General Store with drinks, food, rental fire pits and electric bikes, art, staple grocery and camping goods. This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard. The Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre offers environmental education programs, events and tours at the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area (CVWMA). The CVWMA is a 17,000 acre wetland habitat that is internationally recognized as a wetland of importance (Ramsar Site) as well as an Important Bird Area of Canada. Educational initiatives include: school programs, summer nature camps, guided canoe and walking tours, and a variety of special events suitable for people of all ages. Join us seasonally from May-October for programs. Access to trail systems that meander through the wetland is possible year round.
