Giant Head Estate Winery is one of the award winning Summerland wineries located at the start of the scenic Bottleneck Drive winery tour route. The Winery overlooks Lake Okanagan from the sandy benches below Giants Head Mountain. We are open from the May long weekend until October, 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. Henry's carving shed is a West Coast authentic workshop, with a small community of hard working wood carvers. We are always at work, greeting people from everywhere and demonstrating the ancient art form of carving with hand tools. Artwork can be bought or commissioned on site and we can organize shipping. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op!
