We offer year round exceptional Stand Up Paddleboarding Experiences on southern Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. We are a mobile business and can help you with guided tours, lessons, events and rentals. We also sell boards, paddles and all the other gear you need to make your paddling experience safe and fun. Please book online or call/text/email to make an appointment of book a session. We are open year round from dawn to dusk and offer night paddles too. We often paddle with otters and seals while eagles soar overhead. SUP (stand up paddleboarding) is a great way to experience the beauty of Victoria and southern Vancouver Island. SUP is easy to learn and suitable for people of all ages. And a great full body workout too. Sign up for a lesson, tour, event or rental and we will get out on the water!

The BOLD Street Team provides mobile visitor services by popping up at popular locations and events across Kamloops to assist with information and provide resources to visitors and locals in the city. Our team is made up of tourism ambassadors with a passion for local attractions, outdoor adventures, and more. Keep an eye out for the Tourism Kamloops vehicle and pop-up tourism tent at local hotspots from May-September. Visitor Centre Closed The Kamloops Visitor Centre permanently closed in June 2020. All outdoor facilities – such as EV chargers, sani-dump station, dog run, and picnic benches – are still available for use. For public washrooms and immediate tourist information, please visit the Aberdeen Mall across the street during its hours of operation.

The W.A.C. Bennett Dam is one of the world's largest earth-fill structures. Enjoy the spectacular view from our Visitor Centre and fun exhibits that showcase dam construction, wildlife in the area, how we turn water into clean electricity, and more. If you're looking for information on parks and recreation amenities of the region, including biodiversity hotspots and the very best bird watching locations, you'll find plenty of it here at the nature centre.

Fly Fishing charters on the Columbia River for big Rainbow Trout! Single handed, dry fly and spey fishing are a few of the techniques we offer. Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.
