Unwind in your own private 9 acre forest on the waterfront of Bedwell Harbour. Look across the Harbour and watch the sunset over Gulf Island National Reserve. One bedroom plus loft, 3 beds in total. Must have 4wd vehicle to drive down very steep hill to the cabin or park at top and walk 5min in. We provide a wagon. 360 degree views of ocean and forest.

We are open 7 days a week with a full rental fleet of skis and snowboards in the winter. Bicycles, surfboards, paddleboards, wetsuits, camp gear and everything else you need is available year round. Our fitness equipment, including treadmills, stationary and recumbent bikes and ellipticals is available for rent at affordable prices. In addition to rentals, Sports Rent sells new bicycles, ski equipment and camping gear at discounted prices as well as providing servicing on customer skis, boards and bikes. We are easy to find, with free parking while you shop. Reservations are accepted by telephone with credit card payment so we can have your equipment ready when you arrive. Make your first stop in the qathet region the Visitor Centre! Here you will find helpful staff ready to provide maps and directions, offer local services and souveneirs, help source and book local adventures and tours, as well as secure accommodation. Our staff are all trained Tourism/Visitor Information Counsellors who are happy to answer questions and offer local insider knowledge. If you can't make it in to the qathet Visitors Centre in person, we are available to answer questions over the phone, or by email. We're happy to help you plan your visit to the Sunshine Coast and qathet region, including Powell River, Lund, Savary Island, and Texada Island. And when you get here we'd love to see you - just drop by our Visitor Centre at 4760 Joyce Avenue!

The Fair at the PNE is the best part of summer! For the last two weeks of August through the Labour Day long weekend, The Fair features more than 50 rides and attractions, nightly concerts, live performances, agricultural and animal displays, games, and food. It's fun for all ages plus children 13 years and under are free with an adult admission. The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) fairgrounds was established in 1910 to showcase British Columbia. The PNE operates on a 114-acre site at the City of Vancouver-owned Hastings Park and consists of Playland, the annual 15-day Fair at the PNE, and Fright Nights at Playland. The PNE also includes year-round rental facilities for concerts, conventions, trade shows and sporting events with the Pacific Coliseum the largest venue within Hastings Park. The Pacific Coliseum was proud to be the official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and is currently home to the WHL's Vancouver Giants hockey team. No single location in Vancouver captures the spirit and history of this city, its people and its many achievements as the Pacific National Exhibition. For over 100 years, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities and, of course, the annual Fair at the PNE. Custom built artisanal cabin nestled privately in the forest just a 5 minute walk to the base of RED Mountain Resort. Uniquely decorated interior, self-contained, private entrance, wheelchair accessible room with roll in shower, kitchenette, TV, DVD, BBQ and patio. Our Icelandic horses, pony, and goats graze in the pasture and you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Brouse Creek is running through our 11 acre property and you can watch many birds. The Sointula Resource Centre operates the official Visitor Centre for Sointula and Malcolm Island. Stop here first for maps, island information and details on local businesses. We offer a free bike share and e-bike rental program from May through October (more information can be found here - mibike.ca). We have public-use computers, offer tech and web assistance, and provide office services such as printing, copying, scanning, faxing, laminating, and more.
