Legacy Lodge at Rivers Inlet
Carved into the rugged coastline of British Columbia 250 nautical miles north of Vancouver, Legacy Lodge sits within the Great Bear Rainforest in the protected waters of Pendleton Bay at the mouth of the famed Rivers Inlet. The lounge features a rustic bar with a fireplace seating and dining for 30 guests.Legacy Lodge provides three distinct seasons of fishing. Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon are available from July through September in calm, secluded waters throughout Rivers Inlet. Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are also plentiful in these waters all summer. Heli-fishing for huge northern Coho salmon (20 lbs. plus) within the pristine rivers of the BC coastline is available during September and October, and wild Steelhead fishing from helicopters are available during April and May.Legacy Lodge offers exceptional fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. The dense populations of Coho and Chinook in the waters surrounding Legacy Lodge are aggressive, and will take your fly..... and 200 feet of backing off your reel in seconds! Known around the globe for its magnificent scenery and unparalled salmon fishing, the waters of Rivers Inlet teem with some of the largest Coho and Chinook Salmon in the world. In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-like inlet each year than in any other area in British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

We are also a motorcycle friendly motel - We offer walk-out rooms that allow you to park your motorcycle within a couple of steps of your door. It is most reassuring to be able to easily see your bike day and night. We also offer washing facilities to take that latest layer of bugs off.
