Often referred to as the best place to stay on the Alaska Highway, the Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest and most impressive hotel in the Liard River (hot springs), Toad River and Muncho Lake region. We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. As a remote lodge, we pride ourselves in maintaining a high level of service for our guests in the middle of the untouched wilderness of Muncho Lake. Our facilities include a hotel, dining room and lounge, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV Park, gas station, picnic areas, sauna, playground, floatplane dock, boat ramp and more. All of our facilities are available for our guests including Wifi. We are proud to be able to provide our guests with most of the modern comforts despite being so remote. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. We here at the 'Ksan Campground welcome guests with open arms. Come here for tenting sites and full service sites. We are located near the Historical Pioneer Village of Hazelton and directly beside the Ksan Historic Museum and Village. Our small little town has various places for tourists to wander to and explore. Also, right down the street from us is the Tri-Town Theatre showing modern movies at VERY competitive prices. Sandhill Urban Winery, located in the heart of downtown Kelowna is home to our award-winning wines. Visit us to sample a wide range of our wines including the limited Small Lots program, often not available outside of the winery. Every Friday morning, Main Street transforms into a bustling social hub for the community as market vendors and locals gather for the Lillooet Farmers' Market. At the market, you'll find a variety of locally-grown fruits and vegetables and stalls offering freshly baked goods, delicious canned preserves and organic meats, and beautiful Indigenous art.
