You and your friends can opt to book a group lesson, you and your friends can join one of our scheduled lessons. You can can book a private 1-on-1 lesson or if you have some surf experience and your own equipment you can sign up for a surf guide where we show you the best surf spots and paddle out with you. Here, within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian nations, lives a wild population of coastal grizzly bears. Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.
The Ferry Building Gallery is a public community gallery operated by the District of West Vancouver. Located at the center of the Ambleside Landing area in one of West Vancouvers oldest buildings, it serves as a hub for arts and culture. The gallery presents up to 18 exhibitions annually to more than 500 visitors each week. The mandate of the gallery is to support the development of emerging and established artists from the North Shore, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast. By organizing art lectures, workshops, tours and programs that reflect the cultural diversity of the North Shore, the gallery provides valuable and enriching artist-led experiences to the community. The Ferry Building Gallery is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Musqueam Nation. We recognize and respect them as nations in this territory and their historic connection to the lands and waters around us since time immemorial.
