Nestled on a 65 arce piece of unspoiled Cowichan Valley countryside, this winery and vineyard produces some of the most awarded wines on the entire island! From Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Ortega, Bacchus and the very rare Black Muscat, Blue Grouse produces new classic wines from old island vines.
Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve and Haida Heritage Site
Our guest house is located in Rose Harbour, Kunghit Island; very deep within Gwaii Haanas National Park, Marine Reserve and Haida Heritage Site. Only accessible by floatplane! We provide 3 meals a day, offering authentic Thai cuisine being our specialty. We cook mostly with organic food and also from our large garden. Our guesthouse is rustic but comfortable with wood heat, communal shower and composting toilet. We don't have more then 8 guests at the time unless your group is more then 8! Our tour packages include accommodation, meals, and transportation by floatplane to/from Queen Charlotte Village. We also offer optional guided boat tours and sea kayak rentals in the area surrounding our location. Recommended sites to visit by boat are Ninstints/Skanggwaii (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cape St-James, Rose Inlet, and many others nearby locations. We speak English, French, Thai and Lao.
