Canadian Adventure Company's Mallard Mountain Lodge, accessible only by a 77 km, 30 minute helicopter flight, & accepting only 6 to 8 guests at a time, is the most private & remote Lodge in the Canadian Rockies. This industry unique small guest group size makes it very comfortable to join others at the Lodge, or easy to book the entire Lodge for your group's exclusive use. A variety of package options & lengths of stay are available. Guests of all ages & abilities enjoy backcountry ski & snowboard touring in the Winter, & hiking in Summer. We offer units with hot water, showers, toilets, fridges, stoves with ovens and bar-b-ques. We also have units with just cold running water and toilets. There are rustic cabins available with outhouses. We have waterfront and upper section campsites. There are centrally located washrooms with coin operated showers for those guests who do not have these amenities in the unit. There are electric motorboats, rowboats, kayaks canoes and pedal boats available for rent.

This completely restored Hudsons Bay Company post, located on the shores of Stuart Lake, was an economic powerhouse of trade and commerce in the 19th Century. It is the largest group of original wooden buildings depicting the fur trade in Canada and portrays the relationship between the fur traders and the Carrier First Nation. Costumed interpreters provide a first hand look at how people lived, ate, worked and died more than a century ago.
