Up The Creek Backpacker’s Lodge
A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people). We are the only hostel situated on the lower Sunshine Coast - and you can stay with us from only $28 per night! So come and enjoy a rest in the Creek, but be aware, you'll want to stay longer!

Boundary Museum & Archives
The Boundary Museum Society was established in 1958, and incorporated in 1980. From its inception until 2009, the Boundary Museum Society operated out of the downtown core of Grand Forks, BC. In 2009, the Boundary Museum moved into the former Fructova School, now called the Fructova Heritage Site. The Fructova Heritage Site was built by the Christian Communities of Universal Brotherhood (CCUB) Doukhobors in 1929 as a facility to teach English and academics to the Doukhobor children of the Boundary area. The school was in use until the late 1940's. The Boundary Museum currently features five larger exhibits - the Doukhobors, a schoolroom, local wildlife & environment, historic store in addition to several smaller exhibits on First Peoples, China town in Grand Forks, forestry, sports, and music. Exhibits change from time to time. You will also see a Doukhobor bread oven and perhaps be able to participate in bread making or other activities in the summer months.

POMO Museum
On the picturesque shore at the end of the Burrard Inlet lies the POMO Museum, once the committed terminus of the Canadian Pacific Railway at the first navigable tide waters of the Pacific Ocean. Located beside Rocky Point Park and across from the Brewers Row, there’s lots to see and do. We have a Food Truck onsite, and we’re steps away from Rocky Point Ice Cream, Pajo’s and the Water Park. Accessible from Moody Centre Skytrain. The Museum, formerly the Port Moody Station Museum, is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society (PMHS) to promote and increase the awareness and knowledge of Port Moody’s heritage and history. Exhibitions at the Museum include the Historic Port Moody CPR Station itself, now in its 3rd location. See artifacts and walk through the parlour, kitchen, and telegraph room, recreated to reflect the station as it was in the 1930s. The Museum is currently featuring the exhibit ‘Port Moody Industries’ & ‘Our Living Languages: First Peoples Voices in BC’, on loan from the Royal Museum of BC, and our own ‘Inclusion’ Exhibit. We’re committed to Reconciliation and sharing the histories of Indigenous Peoples. Enjoy community displays, the Heritage Garden and the Meditation Garden. Our restored 1921 CPR railcar, the “Venosta”, is available to explore or to rent for events. Kalavida Surf Shop
BC's Original Paddleboard Shop - Across from Kalamalka Beach and at the head of the Okanagan Rail Trail. Kalavida is BC's first paddleboard-focused shop and has played an important role in promoting the sport regionally and nationally. The Retail Shop is full of Paddleboards, gear, surf-inspired clothing, flops and more. The Rental Shop has Bike Rentals (E-Bike & Cruiser) and the largest fleet of paddleboards in the region. Head out for an amazing experience on Kalamalka Lake or Rent a bike for the Okanagan Rail Trail or Kalamalka Provincial Park - or both! Before or after your ride, visit the Rail Trail Cafe and historic Kal Beach Market located right next to the shop.
Elk Falls Provincial Park
A popular destination family campground on Vancouver Island! Explore the incredible camping, hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities this region has to offer. Be sure to check out the new suspension bridge! Park visitors to Elk Falls will enjoy the extensive forest trail network and the hiking and biking opportunities available. Impressive waterfalls serve as a beautiful backdrop while hiking through coastal forests. Minutes from the main campground, visitors can explore the impressive new suspension bridge. Access to the bridge can be found off the Canyon View Trail. Adventurous park users will be awe-struck at the views found from this newly-built attraction! Firewood is available for sale from the Park Operator. Reservations are recommended during peak season, however last-minute campers may be able to find a spot in July and August. Reservations for this park are accepted for arrival dates from mid-May Labour Day. Elk Falls is open year-round (Winter Camping $11/night).
