Kinbasket Lake Resort sits alone on a 240 kilometer long lake in the BC mountains. It consists of 7 self contained cabins, 45 serviced campsites, 8 unserviced campsites, boat launch, docking, and seasonal beach. Hot showers, flush toilets and sinks are available to all guests. It is a semi-rustic location meaning you are not glamping and you are not roughing it, and a great many of our customers refer to it as "paradise". Our clientele is mature adults and families and of the 3,500+ camp nights we host each season a great many are returning customers. A number of those were just bumps in mom's tummy the first year, I've seen them every year since, and now they are teens. And then there are some you will read from that have a different idea of camping than we do or different expectations and will never again be a customer. C'est la vie!

We offer all inclusive guided/self guided adventure and street based motorcycle tours of western Canada. Our tours are largely based in the backcountry of British Columbia on twisty roads with spectacular views of scenery and wildlife. Rest comfortably each night at lakeside lodges and guest ranches. We fish out of Tahsis inlet were we have the option of going out Nootka Sound or Esperenza sound. I have been fishing the west coast from Kenai, Alaska to Victoria, BC since 1978. The fishing in this area is the best all around fishing bar none on the west coast. The salmon highway that we regularly fish is known by every guide on the west coast. Salmon, Halibut and bottom fish.

Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation. Against a breathtaking backdrop and from viewing platforms, we have optimal sight lines to view the bears in their natural habitat. Tours led by Klahoose guides and partners from Campbell River from late August to mid-October.
