Hotel Zed Tofino is a hotel experience that completely rebels against the ordinary. You may be used to our retro-chic motel feel in our other Hotel Zed locations, but Hotel Zed Tofino is a whole new vibe. Think: totally gorgeous, swanky 70's pad. But this isn't your Granny's crib (unless your Granny was a very stylish rebel!) Our rooms and public areas are groovy and chilled out. The style is deluxe and you'll never get bored here with our sunken living room, retro office, psychic's den and...what's that? A bike path that runs through the middle of the lobby? Yeah, you've never seen anything like this before. Plus, weve got an on-site bird sanctuary for you nature lovers. World-famous Chesterman Beach and the Inlet are both a short stroll from the hotel, and if you wanna roll into town were right on the bike path. The Stanley Park Railway is one of Vancouver's most popular attractions, welcoming over 200,000 visitors per year. Situated on a site cleared by Typhoon Freda in 1962, the two kilometer track travels through the forest in iconic Stanley Park. Kids of all ages will enjoy the fun relaxing ride in a replica of Canadian Pacific Railway Engine #374, famous for pulling Canada's first transcontinental passenger train into Vancouver in the late 1880s. The railway hosts events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas and is open for the summer from end-June through Labour Day.
