Here you will find helpful staff ready to provide maps and directions, offer local services and souveneirs, help source and book local adventures and tours, as well as secure accommodation. Our staff are all trained Tourism/Visitor Information Counsellors who are happy to answer questions and offer local insider knowledge. If you can't make it in to the qathet Visitors Centre in person, we are available to answer questions over the phone, or by email. We're happy to help you plan your visit to the Sunshine Coast and qathet region, including Powell River, Lund, Savary Island, and Texada Island. And when you get here we'd love to see you - just drop by our Visitor Centre at 4760 Joyce Avenue!

Got a bigger group to accommodate? We have plenty of room for extra guests to bring their own gear for dispersed camping. Our property provides you with all of the comforts and essentials you need for a restorative time away. Each unit is comfortably appointed with beautiful furnishings and queen beds with super plush Polysleep memory foam mattresses. Towels and linens are included. Our glamping units feature private outdoor fire pits and kitchenettes with cold running drinking water, cookware, dishware, and utensils. Welcome to our quiet adult oriented RV park, where great fishing, hiking and golf are just a stroll away. Our Park has a beautiful river location with lots of sun, trees and flowers. The perfect base location to stay and do day trips, with many options within an hours drive. Full facilities include cable, power, water, sewer, laundry, free WiFi and very clean showers. New upgrades in 2014 include, 30/50 amp Big Rig pull through sites.

We are a family-run fully serviced RV park and cabin resort. We have 4 rustic lakefront 2-bedroom cabins and 3 smaller 2-room cabins nestled on the shores of Pinantan Lake BC. As of May 2, 2022 we are under new ownership and management.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre is a fun and friendly place for families of all ages in the heart of New Westminster, BC.
