Accommodation and Experience Providers

We offer two B&B room options each with large corner garden view windows, a private Ensuite and hot breakfast. The Rose Room features early 1900 era double bed, side table, armoire and dresser. The Floral Room features Mission style queen bed, two side tables and dresser. The Ensuite has a large soaker tub and separate shower. The third option is a one bedroom self-catering suite with private entrance. The suite also has a queen sized sofa bed enabling four guests in total. A fold-up cot is available upon request.

We are located a one minute stroll to the surf, sand and sunsets of Chesterman Beach. The unique feature of the Cabin is that it has a authentic finish wood, heat sauna, has a sunny deck, kitchenette and double bed. In the bird lovers Loft the local birds will entertain you by your window, also has pine cathedral ceilings and queen bed. A breakfast tray served to your door that your taste buds won't soon forget.

Rowena's Retreat is a new (est. 2017) B&B in Penticton, the centre of "Wine Country" in the southern Okanagan Valley. Enjoy spectacular views of the Okanagan while enjoying the sumptuous breakfast prepared for you by a professional chef. You may well see deer, bighorn sheep and other wildlife from the deck.

We facilitate a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for people to learn about our valley...about our wines, our cuisine and the natural beauty of our landscape. We pick up and drop off at most hotels, motels, B & B's in Kelowna and area. Want a little more than a wine tour? We offer Adventure Tours; Ziplining in Oyama or Peachland, and a lunch stop at a local winery then a relaxing afternoon on wine tour. A perfect combination! While everyone enjoys the wine and the view when they come to visit, the most asked question would have to be about our name...On a cool spring morning in 1929, a small crew from Okanagan Falls set off to a deserted mining camp some 16 miles away from home. Their mission: to dismantle an old wooden church and bring it back to Okanagan Falls.The plan called for a controlled blast of four dynamite sticks inside the church in order to "loosen the nails". Odd as it may seem, the explosion spared the wood from damage during dismantling.Save for losing the steeple, the plan succeeded. Now the 103 year old wooden church stands proudly in its second home of Okanagan Falls and is still an operating United Church. In keeping with its rather remarkable history, the church has since withstood the threat of two major floods, including the disastrous burst of the Okanagan Falls Dam in the early 1950's.In naming our VQA wines "Blasted Church" we celebrate the ingenuity of the initiative to move the church and honor those pioneers for their vision.
