We are a family style motel situated on Cortes Island, in beautiful British Columbia. Our motel offers ten comfortable and affordable rooms (most rooms have kitchenettes). We welcome families, pets, children, individuals with varying mobility and anyone who wants to experience our beautiful island community. We are situated centrally, close to all amenities and several of our island's most popular hiking trails, beaches & lakes. Picnic tables, BBQs, a campfire pit and hammock are all provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. West Lake Campground is a family owned Campground in Prince George. We are so pleased to offer full service sites with 30amps, larger sites with sewer and water and guests that just want abit more privacy we offer some non serviced sites great for tents or trailers. Every site has a picnic table and a firepit available for your camping experience. We are only a 1 mile walk to West Lake Provincial Day Park. At West Lake Campground we want to make your Families camping vacation as relaxing and pleasant as possible.

Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. Class participants come and go as they please making their art at their own pace. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler village. Drop in's welcome from 12 noon to 6 pm, please come see the carving live! (9AM to 10 PM upon appointment 24 hours advance notice) Just bring yourself and lunch/dinner money, take-out food locations are on the village stroll.
