Sun Peaks

Year-round adventure at Canada’s second-largest resort.

Located less than an hour from Kamloops in the traditional territory of the Secwépemc Nation, Sun Peaks boasts access to three mountain peaks.

The compact, pedestrian-only village is lined with cafés, restaurants, and small shops, and the transition from patio to trail is almost immediate with the village opening directly onto three surrounding mountains: Tod Mountain, Sundance Mountain, and Mount Morrisey. Ride lift-accessed bike park trails, hike to alpine meadows, or spend an afternoon at the Sun Peaks Golf Course, the highest-elevation course in BC. Nearby lakes, including peaceful McGillivray Lake, are perfect for paddling, swimming, or simply relaxing at the shoreline. When winter settles in, the landscape shifts into more than 4,000 acres of skiable terrain with short lift lines that mean more time on the slopes.

Whatever the time of year, enjoy laid-back evenings in a cozy village with good food, and good conversation about the day’s adventures.
