Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre

The Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre is conveniently located at Mile 300 on the world-famous Alaska Highway. Our accessible, pet-friendly facility welcomes travellers from around the globe and offers free Wi-Fi, public washrooms, and knowledgeable staff ready to provide local and regional information to help you make the most of your visit. Browse our selection of locally crafted artisan products, including artwork, jewelry, pottery, and Indigenous-made items that make unique souvenirs and memorable keepsakes. The Visitor Centre operates seasonally. From September through May, we are open Monday to Friday. During the peak tourism season, from Victoria Day to Labour Day, we are open seven days a week to serve visitors.
