POMO Museum

POMO Museum is located in the historic 1908 West Terminus station of the Canadian Pacific Railway in Port Moody. Visitors can explore the restored station and a 1921 first-class sleeper car, while permanent exhibitions highlight the industries and communities that shaped the coastal city. The current exhibition, Keep in Touch: Communications Through the Ages, explores how people have connected across time—from early methods to modern technology. Upcoming exhibitions include Marvellous Mushrooms, a travelling exhibition from the Royal BC Museum. POMO Museum offers educational programs, guided tours, birthday experiences, LEGO® programs, movie nights, and teas on the train. Visitors can also enjoy the Curiosity Garden and Meditation Garden or rent the historic train car for private events! The site is also a popular filming location seeking historic railway charm. Supported by dedicated volunteers from the Port Moody Heritage Society and the local community, POMO Museum creates memorable and meaningful experiences that celebrate local stories. Visitors are encouraged to explore, learn, and connect with the history of Port Moody through exhibits, events, and shared experiences.
