Okanagan Valley

Outdoor adventures, wine touring, and lakeside relaxation

From dry sagebrush slopes to wide, shimmering lakes, the Okanagan Valley is a landscape of contrasts, where desert hills meet fertile valleys, and the land sets the rhythm.

In the homelands of three Interior Salish nations —the Syilx, Nlaka’pamux, and Secwépemc —this Valleys & Vineyards area is where seasons, local traditions, and natural beauty all inform everyday life.

Located in the southern interior of BC, this valley is one of the province’s oldest and largest wine regions, home to more than 200 wineries rooted in the area’s distinct growing conditions. Beyond the tasting rooms, find farmers’ markets, food festivals, and lakefront towns. Cycle the Kettle Valley Rail Trail, paddle Okanagan Lake, or wander through orchards and lavender fields. Harvest season in the fall brings a different kind of flavourful energy, while winter slopes offer space to carve fresh tracks. This is a place to move with the seasons.
