The Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery is a multi-faceted organization with a history museum exhibition, regional archives, two contemporary gallery spaces and a fabulous gift shop. The history museum features an introduction to the Sinixt and Ktunaxa nations, culture and perspectives, the history of European exploration and the challenges of trade and travel routes, and how various industries such mining, transportation, hydroelectricity affected the area and the creation of the Queen City. Our galleries rotate exhibitions eight times per year and feature everything from contemporary art and pop culture, to fine craft and design, to local architectural and social history the Nelson Museum's exhibitions connect to this areas creative energy and rich heritage. The gift shop features wares from over 100 local artists and authors. The coolest new activity in the Kootenays! Kokanee Mountain Zipline will provide customers with the incredible freedom of flight high above Kokanee Creek and a view of the variety of natural flora and fauna, while at the same time encouraging preservation of the area's significant natural resources and history. This 1.5-2 hour tour with two professional guides on six ziplines will take you up to 300ft off the ground, along 2400ft of the tree canopies. Enjoy a beautiful forest setting with the whole family... 50lbs minimum weight limit so the little folks can fly too! Our season runs from the beginning of May to the end of October. Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club is a family friendly cross country ski area. We offer 30 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing as well as a 4.5 km trail for snowshoeing. The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club can trace its roots back to 1891. Today, the club is a registered non-profit organization. Almost all of the services provided by the club are accomplished by dedicated volunteer members.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a true, year-round adventure destination. In summer, RMR is home to the Pipe Mountain Coaster; North America's first Brandauer mountain coaster. This exhilarating ride features 1.4 kilometres of twists and turns all the while travelling at speeds of up to 42/kmph. The Resort also features a four-storey Aerial Adventure Park, a 9-hole Disc Golf course, sightseeing, and an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails. In the winter months, Revelstoke Mountain Resort receives 30-40 feet of annual snowfall, covering 1,263 hectares (3,121 acres) of alpine bowls, steeps, glades, and groomers with a descent of 1,713 vertical meters (5,620 feet) - the most in North America. The Resort has two high-speed quad chairs, one fixed-grip quad chair, an eight-passenger gondola and a dedicated beginner slope with Magic Carpet conveyor lift.
