In the summer there are many excellent golf courses nearby, hike and (mountain) bike trails, lakes for swimming and sun bathing, waterfalls, rafting, fly fishing, Fort Steele heritage town, the mine museum or just visit cozy, car free down town Kimberley with nice shops and restaurants. In the winter: we are close to the ski hill (only two minutes) and cross country skiing or snow shoeing starts in our back yard! Down town Kimberley is only a 5 minutes (short cut) walk and we are across from the well known restaurant The Old Bauernhaus.

The Powder Mountain Lodge is a family owned hotel with a beautiful courtyard housing an outdoor pool and BBQ area. A common room with a full kitchen, pool table, wood burning fireplace & TV area. We offer rooms with 1 or 2 queen beds as well as studio's and 2 queen kitchen suites. We are centrally located and close to all Fernie's amenities and just a short 10 min drive to the ski hill.

Radius is a forested mountainside retreat offering walk in and hike in Yurt rentals. We are situated on 1000 acres which are open to explore in the summer, spring, and fall with trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Radius is an off grid, sustainable wilderness area, and there is solar power in each yurt and we provide water and firewood for your stay. The yurts are anywhere from a 5 minute walk to a 7 km hike, and are all situated so that you feel like you are in peaceful solitude and truly a part of the natural area surrounding you, and yet only a few minutes from town and all the amenities it offers. Radius backs onto Kootenay National Park, extending the hiking and nature experience. The Elkford Motor Inn is a full service facility offering rooms, restaurant, pub and liquor store. We are located in the heart of Elkford in close proximity to shopping and recreation facilities. The hotel has 22 rooms, some with one king or queen bed and others with two queen beds. Each room has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot for your convenience. Those traveling for business or work may call the hotel for corporate rates. Emi's Restaurant is open 7:00am to 10:00pm for dine in and take out. Sneaky's Pub is open 11:00am to 2:00am daily. The Liquor Store is open 9:00am to 11:00pm daily. They offer a variety of wines and liquors as well as cold beer and coolers. We look forward to seeing you during your stay in Elkford.

We offer 25 spacious campsites, 1 tipi site and 8 log cabins for nightly stays from May - October. The campsites are unserviced and include a picnic table and fire ring. The campground has outhouses with water for hand washing, a shared dishwashing sink and outdoor shower. Inside cabin includes bathrooms with showers and hot water, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, dishes and a variety of sleeping arrangements in the loft. The cabins are all facing towards the wetlands with a view of the Valley. There is a deck out front each cabin with a BBQ and element for cooking, a picnic table and fire ring.

Whispering Spruce is a beautifully treed and shaded campground with many desirable features such as free wifi, childrens playground and firepits at each site. We are in the heart of Kicking Horse Country and are conveniently located a short distance to the east of Golden on the Trans Canada highway.

The Fernie RV Resort offers 161 fully-serviced RV sites, (26 are pull-throughs) 11 tenting sites, 5 heated yurts and 10 luxury RV Lodges. The resort is open year-round. The location is nestled between the Elk River, Fernie Golf Course and Maiden Lake. It is also close to Fernies shopping and dining services, and the Historic Downtown. The Riverside Resort Trail connects with the Fernie trail network for endless walking and biking and in Winter months the trail is groomed and connects with a Nordic network.
