Founded in 1996, Black Hills Estate Winery produces premium wines from its estate vineyards on the acclaimed Black Sage Bench, in British Columbias Okanagan Valley. Our Wine Experience Centre is located on the beautiful Black Sage Bench, and we are devoted to delivering extraordinary experiences that will become a lifetime memory. Surrounded by sun-kissed vineyards, you will find a true wine country escape. Crafting wines since 1999, and led by acclaimed winemaker Ross Wise, MW, discover wines that pair tradition with the unconventional. Born and raised in New Zealand, Ross joined the Black Hills Estate Winery team as winemaker in 2019, where he enjoys pushing wine quality boundaries for Black Hills premium portfolio, while also leading the transition to organic and biodiversity focused farming. Located in the heart of Naramata Bench wine region, Hillside prides itself in proving its customers with the Ultimate Naramata Experience. Hillsides well-equipped cellar, under the direction Winemaker Kathy Malone, produces top quality Okanagan Valley wines destined for many markets. Unique, small-lot, and terroir-driven are terms best used to describe our wines. Our focus is showcasing hand-crafted wine made exclusively from our estate vineyards and other Naramata grape growers. The wine tasting room is hosted by knowledgeable staff who present our award winning wines to all who visit.

We are a family-owned winegrowers, producing premium small lot red wines and white wines. We grow all our own grapes and produce our wines on site. Established in 1916 as part of the Dominion Experimental Farm, now the Summerland Research and Development Centre, the 6 hectare, Summerland Ornamental Gardens was designed to help residents, choose ornamental plants for their gardens that would be suitable for the dry Okanagan climate. In collaboration with Agriculture Canada, the site is maintained by the non-profit society, the Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens. As you stroll through the Gardens you will have views of Okanagan Lake, Giant's Head Mountain and the Trout Creek Trestle railroad bridge, an outstanding engineering feat constructed for the Kettle Valley Railway. Visit the demonstration garden beds and learn principles of water-smart gardening with the diverse Welcome Garden, Xeriscape Garden, Butterfly Garden, Vegetable garden, Canadian Heritage Rose garden, Fairy Garden and more. The gardens are open year-round. Our society gratefully requests a minimum donation $5.00 per person to keep us growing.

We are located on the beautiful Naramata Bench in the heart of the Okanangan Valley. At LA FRENZ, we believe the quality in the bottle begins in the vineyard. Cutting edge and meticulous vineyard practices are used in combination with varieties tailored to the unique soils and micro climates of our vineyard sites to produce the vibrant and intense grape characters found only in the Okanagan Valley. The potential of the resulting fruit, using experience and careful stewardship throughout the vinification process, is maintained and enhanced to create exceptional wines that truly reflect the grape variety and vineyard site. We welcome you to our unique wine shop overlooking Lake Okanagan. From April through October, we are open Thursday- Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday), 10am to 5pm for tastings and purchases. Join us on our patio for a seated tasting experience or sample at the tasting bar. Seating is limited so reservations are encouraged.
