Located above Whistler Village on the side of Blackcomb Mountain, the Whistler Sliding Centre is a world-class bobsleigh, skeleton and luge facility. Public visitors can try Whistler's most unique activities, passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and public skeleton (winter). Aspiring athletes can join "Learn to Slide" programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge within the BC Sliding Development Centre. The facility is also a National Training Centre and popular training and competition venue for athletes from all over the world. Each year, races for all levels from beginners to the elite of sliding athletes, such as World Cups and World Championships are held on the Olympic legacy venue. Year-round, Olympic Sightseeing is available free of charge through a self-guided interpretive tour. Rocky Point Kayak is located at the foot of the boat launch at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody. Our sheltered location offers easy access to the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. The calm waters at Rocky Point have an abundance of bird and wildlife just a short paddle from shore. Stunning scenery and secluded beaches provide a quick wilderness escape despite being only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We offer hourly, daily, or weekly rentals, of kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. In addition, we offer Paddle Canada certified lesson programs and tours, and many weekly drop-in social paddles. We have the staff and equipment to host large group or corporate outing and specialize in school paddle trips and lessons. We operate seasonally from April 1 to the end of Thanksgiving. We have a large rental fleet with a diverse range of boats for novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers. Our rental fleet consists of single, double, family-friendly double kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards.

We offer an outstanding arrangement of Wildlife Displays, most of which the average person would never see in the wild. There are over 350 mounted specimens, ranging in size from mice to bison, including over 120 birds of prey and over 115 different species of Canadian wildlife. There is also a large butterfly and moth collection. There are 45 viewing stations, with over 220 different scenes of wildlife. The excellence in taxidermy workmanship and amazing artwork is not just in the mounted animals but also in the natural detailed dioramas. There is also a Gift Shop with many very unique wildlife/nature related novelties, souvenirs, and gifts.
