Horsefly Landing Resort is located on scenic Horsefly Lake, 65 kilometers east of Williams Lake, BC. We have four log cabins available for rent, just steps away from the crystal clear waters of Horsefly. Available for rent from May to October, each cabin is fully equipped with a coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, utensils, towels, and linens. Reservations required - 3 night stay minimum

Mount Timothy Recreation Resort is an affordable family friendly ski hill located in the South Cariboo region of British Columbia. Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

This well-treed campground offers a private and peaceful setting for campers of all kinds, with a deep forest on the south end in the first-come, first-served section, transitioning to a wetland on the north end in the reservable section. Lowhee Campground has 47 campsites that can be booked in advance, as well as 33 campsites in the first-come, first-served section. It features a playground, three washroom buildings with flush toilets and potable water, as well as a coin-operated shower house. Bear-proof garbage and recycling bins are offered in central locations throughout the campground. All campsites are equipped with a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and campfire ring. Firewood is available for an additional fee of $10 per day. Campsites are an average of 50 feet long and 14 feet wide and can accommodate most trailers and RVs when backed into the sites. Pull-through sites are available in the Forest Rose Campground. Lowhee Campground is located along the west side of Barkerville Highway, 2 km north of the Barkerville Visitor Centre. Guests can travel back and forth from the Historic Zone to Lowhee via the highway, or via a well-groomed walking path alongside the highway. Lowhee Campground is part of the 1,100-hectare property that forms Barkerville Historic Town & Park and is managed by Barkerville Heritage Trust.

The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. We also have 10 km of snowshoe trails. We offer youth program, biatlhon and lessons. Rental Shop available for renting skiing and snowshoeing equipment. Day Lodge on site.
