Wild Root Journeys offers day and multi-day sea kayak and hiking trips, lessons, and nature retreats along British Columbia's coastline. We are certified guides through the Sea Kayak Guide Alliance of BC offering experience and heart. Our goal is to open doors for those seeking out adventure, time to recharge and growth in nature.

The Tumbler Ridge Global Geopark is an area recognized as having internationally significant geological heritage. Geoparks aim to reconnect people to the earth, whether through hiking trails, learning about mountain building, eating food grown in the local soils, or celebrating the stories of the people who have lived here since time immemorial.

The Canadian Museum of Flight is a great family day out. We inspire young people towards a passion for aviation and for science and technology more generally. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op! The Gift Shop has something for every aviation enthusiast, and for every budget. The Museum is located at Langley Airport, accessed off 216 Street. Please come join us!

I have a 24 ft fully Transport Canada certified fishing boat with all the amenities. Safety gear, fishing gear, toilet on board. It can fish 4 people very comfortably. As a Fishing Guide I am very passionate about what I do. I love showing people how much fun can be had on the water! Catching fish, telling stories and having lots of laughs. Want to soar like an eagle? Or knock an item off of your bucket list? Then come and visit us! We offer tandem flights for: Paragliding, Hang Gliding & Motorized Hang Gliding Trike. Tandem flights range in time from 8 minutes to over an hour, depending on the conditions. If you want to become a pilot yourself, we have qualified instructors to teach you how to paraglide or hang glide. The flight park has 2 launch sites and a 2000' grass runway and 2 smaller taxiways as well as a Pilot's Lounge, an outdoor covered deck where you can relax after your flight and watch others "commit acts of aviation"! We are open from late April to mid-October, weather permitting.
