Bowen Island Sea Kayaking is dedicated to offering safe, informative and fun experiences for the novice paddler through to the seasoned kayaker. We have experienced local guides available for lessons and guided tours. Our shop in Snug Cove on Bowen Island is an easy day-trip, just a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club is a semi-private, executive length golf course located 10 minutes north of Qualicum Beach. We have 300 Members and welcome all public players to our course. Arrowsmith is challenging enough for experienced golfers, yet not intimidating for less experienced golfers. Learn about B.C. freshwater fish, recreational fishing and hatchery operations at our self-guided visitor centre. Guided tours and birthday parties can be organized- please contact us for more information. The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 9.00am - 3.00pm. The outdoor fishing ponds are open to the public May 1st to October 31st from dawn to dusk. Pond may be closed to the public during registered programs. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Larch Hills Nordic Society is located half way between Enderby and Salmon Arm in beautiful British Columbia. Daily trail fees are affordable or purchase a membership for an economical option. We offer 57 km of skate/classic trackset trails; 114 km of ungroomed ski trails and 17 km of snowshoe trails. Our groomed trails are maintained by a PB Edge tracksetter and a side by side pulling the Ginzu groomer. There is a beautiful heated chalet with kitchen facilities and indoor washrooms. Our volunteers are active and provide daily grooming, a Safety Host program and ski programs and lessons for all ages.

A 300 acre nature reserve with level walking trails, bird viewing blinds, observation tower and interpretive centre (free) . Known for a large nesting colony of Great Blue Herons which nest from March through July. Great bird and wildlife watching. Check website for free community programs and special events. Trail open dawn to dusk. Rotary Interpretive Centre is open 10 am to 4 pm.
