Moose Travel Network is an adventure tour and transportation network for 18 to 39 year old (and young at heart!) budget travellers in Western Canada. Based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, we offer 13 tours departing from either Vancouver or Banff. Major destinations include Banff and Jasper National Parks, Whistler, and Vancouver Island. Our tours include hostel accommodation, transportation, the services of a driver/guide, National Park fees, and a select few activities and meals. We make stops en route for free sightseeing, walks and hikes, and we also organize optional adventure activities that our travellers can choose to participate in for an extra cost. In Valemount's original Railway Station from 1914, the Valemount & Area Museum showcases how the pioneers of the Robson Valley lived during the last century. Farming, forestry and fur fueled the economy. All of this is lovingly displayed by the Valemount Historic Society, descendants of those pioneers, whom opened the museum in 1992, after nearly 5 years of restoring and refurbishing. Trains, teachers, internment camps, outfitters, farmers, war heroes and more await your visit. The Annex outbuilding displays a magnificent collection of chainsaws and farming implements. Our caboose houses every tool you would need to maintain the tracks. The pièce de résistance is the train station itself with 3 floors of amazing displays. Entry by donation

We can help with accommodation bookings and activity suggestions, directions and hot tips on local favorites! We have great souvenirs, accessible facilities, a washroom, free computer use and free Wi-Fi access. Convenient parking is located outside the Revelstoke Business and Visitor Information Centre for cars and RVs - longer vehicles are encouraged to park westbound on Victoria Rd along the wide paved shoulder.
